An Islamic youth education and daycare center on Marlkress Road in Cherry Hill has secured its final zoning approvals. The facility, operated by Inspire A Learner LLC, occupies a converted office building at 1155 Marlkress Road, located between Allison Drive and Cardone Avenue.
The Cherry Hill Zoning Board of Adjustment approved the application on October 16. Then, on November 6, the board adopted a formal resolution granting a use variance, minor site plan approval, and several additional variances.
Although daycare centers are permitted on the property, the educational component is not allowed under current zoning. Therefore, Inspire A Learner needed the use variance to move forward.
With the approvals now in place, the project can advance its plans to provide youth programming and childcare services in the community.
